CeaseTone (Hafsteinn Þráinsson) is an Icelandic composer, producer, guitarist and multi instrumentalist. In his not so long journey as a musician, he has been all over the world of music collaborating both locally in Iceland and internationally.

His musical portfolio includes songwriting, production, arrangement and engineering on multiple albums from many of Iceland's most prominent musicians, collaborations on a
variety of films and TV shows and an extensive
career as a live performer, performing with a range of musicians ranging all the way from 
legendary cellist Yo Yo Ma to synth pop guru
Daði Freyr and everything in between.

At the center of Hafstein's musical whirlpool is his  genre bending solo project, CEASETONE.
